Income & Fees

Upon dropping in your item you will choose a Target price you want to receive for the item, (in consultation with one of our representatives).

Based on that Target price you will pay a nominal ‘insertion fee’ to cover the costs of preparing the item for sale and the costs of the Auction insertion.

The Insertion Fee will correspond to the following ‘Target Price’ table;

  • Less than NIS 500 – NIS 25
  • More than NIS 500 and less than NIS 2500 – NIS 50
  • More than NIS 2500 – NIS 100.

If the item successfully sells at Auction you will then receive the following gross share of the Sales Price. (All Auction Sales Success fees will be covered by the remainder.)

The Income share will correspond to the following table;

  • Less than NIS 5,000 – 65% of sale price.
  • Any portion above NIS 5,000 and less than NIS 25,000 – 72% of sale price.
  • More than NIS 2,5000 – Custom quote

Please note. Each Auction will have a separate Sales Price and Shipping Price. Net Income will be calculated on the Sales Price only. The shipping price paid by the Buyer will go directly to DropShop to reimburse it for the actual costs of shipping.

Payment

Unless special circumstances are agreed-to, you should receive your proceeds from the sale within 30 days after the close of a successful  auction. In actual fact, the payment for the goods should be received by DropShop within 10 days after the close, but it is the policy of DropShop to hold that payment in 'escrow' for the warranty period that is promised in the auction listing. It is only after there has been no warranty claim by the buyer, which shall generally be 14 days after the buyers’ receipt of the goods, that Seller will receive the proceeds.
